To get started, we need a general idea of the scope and scale of your project. We include a complimentary consultation call so you can share your vision, ask us any questions and discuss some of the general details of what you’re hoping to achieve in your home or business. From that point, we would provide you with a preliminary estimate. If you have an interior designer or architect who has provided you drawings, we can utilize those to help with our pricing process. This allows us to be more accurate with our estimate, but it is not required. Once the pricing has been approved, we move forward to the next steps.

We collaborate with many trades in the industry to be sure your vision is brought to life. If you don’t have an architect or interior designer involved to help, we are happy to assist and include the Millwork design for your project. We will provide you with a detailed plan for the cabinetry and options to maximize your storage and achieve an overall beautiful space. We love to see all the working stages of each individual project, but the most important one for us, is the drywall site measure. If walls are being removed or added, we would measure for the cabinetry once any new drywall is completed. For some projects, there are multiple site visits to ensure we know the location of plumbing, electrical or any integral components, but the final site measure is one of the most crucial steps in our process.

In this third stage, we invite you to our millwork shop to complete the final review of the millwork components and cabinetry design. This shop meeting is a crucial step as we approach the final steps before we begin your projects production. We go over all the details like paint colour selection, wood finishes, interiors of the cabinetry, hardware, accessories and more. This is our final opportunity to review the projects design and details together and we want to do our very best to ensure we have included all the custom elements you envision for your project. Once we complete this stage, you will receive your Millwork Package to sign-off, indicating you are happy for us to proceed into the production phase.

This phase always seems like the longest for most clients, but we can promise it is worth the wait! Pending the scope and scale of your project, the production and installation timeframe varies. We help guide you with a clear understanding of these timelines at the shop meeting and do our absolute best to stay on schedule. During installation, our team diligently scribes, skillfully installs and perfectly aligns all cabinetry and millwork components to be sure your millwork functions at the utmost quality.
